Showcasing Norways’ finest debutants, as well as original texts from the British edition, first issue out now. With Collapse as the first theme up, I interpreted this loaded word into five full-page illustrations as freestanding artworks without regard to the text-contributions. The theme, although thematically grim, was an interesting topic to take on. The artwork includes references from Jordan's 1989 season, including "the shot" one of Jordan's most famous career plays. I was given a pair of these, and they are on display in my studio like a work of art, I can't bring myself to wear them. The piece is an homage to Jordan and the design of the shoe. I worked closely with Rory and creative director Rich Morin to develop a graphic that told Bushy's story. All the elements of the ski are inspired by the things Rory loves. Most importantly, it is in memory of his wife Sarah Burke who tragically past away in January 2012, after a fatal ski accident while training in the superpipe at Park City, Utah. The piece will be used to create a large scale interior design piece that will be laser cut into wood. The theme of the restaurant is taken from Knut Hamsen's novel "Hunger". The entire restaurant went through a major redesign and I was glad to be part of the process. The artwork is also used in the menus which were designed by Ane Thon Knutsen, and Elin Maria Myrekrok at Julius Ørneberg bokbinderi bound the books.
